Sometimes I’m really amazed at how every date seems to me like the first one. And the amount of time I can spend harping on the new discoveries I make.
Guess it’s not so bad being in this state now. At least it’s a different thing as before.
Wrote this almost 25 days ago and wanted to continue after getting the rest of the photos. But it’s quite tough requesting photos nowadays. Oh and sending too. Haha.
I’m 22 years old and am always the first person among my friends to turn a year older.
For the past few years, I’ve always celebrated my birthday with the same groups of friends. It just shows that we still care enough about each other to celebrate one another’s birthdays. =) Used to have this tradition of buying birthday cakes in my family until recent years when everyone became rather lazy. There was one year when I didn’t cut my birthday cake and left it to freeze in the fridge because I was busy going out. And another when my mother was too lazy to get one for me so she shoved me some cash and asked me nicely to get my own birthday cake.
I used to envy my friends when I was in kindergarten and primary school when they held birthday parties and gave out invitation cards. I got my first present in K1 from someone I couldn’t remember and I was moved to tears! It was a little box full of tiny toy figurines and assorted sweets. How nice. Oh and that same year I bit a fellow classmate on her arm just to show her my teeth marks. Okay out of point but just feel like mentioning it.
I’m almost going into my childhood stories now. Anyway, had a good chat with Amanda and Mandy just now over our extended dinner. We just can’t stop eating whenever we meet. They’re really good at cooking and crafting.. what more can you ask of a wife?! If only I’m a tall and fat man, they’ll love me.
